Welcome to Calgary Kerala Christian Assembly site. We greet you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. CKCA is an assembly of born again believers from South India, Kerala to worship our Lord Jesus in truth and spirit. We are proud to be the only full-fledged Malayalam Church in Calgary, Canada. Our worship services are in Malayalam and English languages, and we invite you to join CKCA on every sunday mornings.
The purpose of CKCA is to establish and maintain a place for the worship of Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, to provide for Christian fellowship for those of like precious faith, where the Holy Spirit may be honored according to our distinctive testimony, and to assume our responsibility and privilege of propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ by all available means, both at home and around the world.
OUR PURPOSE
CKCA is an assembly of believers that effectively communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people in the community. Our purpose is to teach and preach God's Word in order to help each individual to grow and develop into mature Christians. We desire to see people lead successful, well-rounded lives and be examples to others so that they may know the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Mission Is To:
• Uncompromisingly preach the infallible word of God thereby bringing lost ones
to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
• Establish the kingdom of God on earth (Matthew 28:18-20).
• Educate, nurture and strengthen all members through edification in the Word.
• Equip leaders with the biblical knowledge and understanding of all spiritual gifts
and their application and impartation individually and corporately.
• Preach the fourfold gospel "Salvation, Holiness, Healing and the Second
Coming of Christ" in its totality.
We believe
the Holy Scriptures, both the Old and New Testament, to be verbally inspired of God, infallible, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life;
in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and man;
that mankind was created in the image of God, sinned and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God; that human beings are born with a sinful nature and are in need of redemption
that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice for our sins and that all who believe in Him are justified through His shed blood;
that He was bodily resurrected and ascended into Heaven and at present acts for us as a High Priest and Advocate;
that all who in faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God;
in the personal and literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and to reward every person according to their works;
in the resurrection of the just and the unjust;
in the eternal duration of the blessedness of the righteous and of the eternal duration of the punishment of the wicked;
that Christians are to live a holy life before God and all people.
The Bible clearly and authoritatively teaches that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God maybe thoroughly furnished (equipped) into all good works (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of the true and living God, immutable, infallible, authentic and genuine, given by inspiration of the Holy God and written by holy men of old as they were moved and inspired by the Holy Ghost. We believe that the word is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet (Ps.119:105). We believe that it is the final revelation of God to man in which God chooses to unveil Himself and His acts to man. It is a sharp two-edged sword to convict its readers of sin and all evil works.
Jesus said: "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (Jn. 4:23-24).
When we truly understand what it really means to worship....God....with our spirits....in truth, above everything else God will be pleased, and our lives will be transformed. May God help us all to be the true worshippers who will worship in spirit and in truth. Join us in our worship service and be blessed!
